Drinda trained and worked in the Pathology Laboratories of Bristol United Hospitals before moving to St. Luke’s Hospital in Guildford. She joined Berry Ottaway & Associates Ltd in 1978 and was laboratory manager for a number of years, specialising in the microbiology of food and water.
Since the laboratory closed, Drinda has concentrated on the technical aspects relating to product formulae and labelling.
She now specialises in the compositional aspects of products and ingredients to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements of the countries in which the product is intended to be marketed.
In addition, Drinda reviews clients’ labels for compliance with the complex food labelling legislation of the EU and UK, and also supports clients by drafting their labels.
