Peter and Sam have written, edited or contributed chapters to a number of books on technical, scientific and regulatory matters relating to food. For ten years, Peter was also a monthly contributor to Nutraceuticals International.
BOA has been providing a training resource for the food and supplement industry for over forty years, and as early as 1978 the company was involved in the production of audio-visual training modules on the technical aspects of food production.
Sam has led international working groups in the production of global technical guidance documents for the supplement industry, many of which can also be applied to functional foods. Peter has contributed to all, and been lead author on two, of these publications.
Peter and Sam assisted in the production of an EU-focussed GMP guide for food supplements and a specific EU GMP guide for botanical preparations, while Sam prepared a publication on the testing and documentation requirements of the US cGMP for food supplements that are additional to the requirements in the EU GMP guide.
